The Kia EV9 marks a pioneering milestone as the first model to embrace the brand’s design sustainability strategy, which aims to phase out the use of leather, apply ten must-have sustainable items to new Kia models and continuously increase the use of bio-based materials.

Recycled fishing net and PET bottles

The carpet is made using recycled fishing nets that are salvaged from the ocean and cleverly repurposed. Also, trims, seats and interior fabric are made from recycled plastic bottles and wool fibre.

Artificial Leather Seats

Stylish, tactile artificial leather replaces regular leather for the seating surfaces, reducing animal skin processing and creating a smaller carbon footprint.

Stand-out headlamps

Cube LED headlamps with the daytime running lights bring a bold, futuristic aesthetic to the eye-catching front of the GT-Line.

Comfort you can configure

You can choose from optional Swivel Seats in the second row (6-seater only), which can be switched around to allow occupants to interact with one another, or Relaxation Seats, available for the first and second row and providing full comfort for you and your passengers.
