Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA)

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist detects any vehicles in your blind spot and alerts you with a warning symbol in your door mirror. Should you start to change lane, the Picanto will automatically apply the brakes to avoid a collision, the side mirror warning symbols will flash and an audible alert will sound (GT-Line S).

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.

The system monitors other cars, pedestrians or cyclists ahead to avoid a potential collision. It also functions to prevent collisions with oncoming vehicles when making a right turn at a junction. If it detects a potential collision, a warning signal appears on your instrument cluster and maximum braking power is applied ('Pure’ and ‘GT-Line’ come with FCA 1.0 while ‘GT-Line S' comes with FCA 1.5).

Lane Follow Assist 1.0.

LFA assists your steering to keep you in the middle of your lane. It takes the strain out of motorway driving.

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist.

The system uses a camera to read speed limit signs along the road, and displays them beside the speedometer and on the navigation screen.
