No one knows what the road can throw at us, so the Sorento's DriveWise technologies help you remain safe and suitably relaxed.

Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA) with Rear-Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). Should you start to change lane while a car is in you blind spot, the Sorento will automatically apply the brakes to avoid a collision, the side mirror and head-up warning symbols will flash and an audible alert will sound.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2.0. FCA2 gives you added reassurance and helps you to avoid any potential collisions with pedestrians cyclists or other cars on the road. If you are not applying the brakes hard enough to avoid a collision, your Sorento will do it automatically.

Multi-Collision Braking System. If your airbag is fired in response to a collision, a signal is immediately sent to the Electronic Stability Control system to apply the brakes. This helps prevent or mitigate a subsequent collision.

Lane Follow Assist. It assists your steering to keep you in the middle of your lane. It takes the strain out of motorway driving when engaged together with Smart Cruise Control or Highway Driving Assist. Your car adapts its speed on both your set maximum speed and a set distance to the vehicle ahead, while maintaining its place at the centre of the lane.

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go Functionality. It maintains your set speed, ensuring a safe distance between you and the vehicle ahead. It also controls acceleration and deceleration to ensure your vehicle stops when the vehicle ahead does and then moves off when the other vehicle moves again. The function uses navigation data to adapt speed to the curvature of the road; decelerating in bends when required.

Remote Smart Parking Assist . Remote Smart Parking Assist lets move your Kia Sorento in and out of tight parking spots while standing outside and using controls on your key fob. Your vehicle still monitors surroundings and stops if it detects an obstacle nearby.

Forward/Side/Reverse Distance Warning. The PDW system alerts the driver to any potential risks posed by nearby objects to avoid collisions while moving at low speeds.

Safe Exit Assist. The system sounds an alarm if a passenger tries to disembark while a car is approaching from the back in an adjacent lane.

Wireless Mobile Phone Charger. Forget cables, you can charge your mobile phone wirelessly and effortlessly by placing it on the charging pad at the front of the centre console.
